Imagine spirit simultaneously within and around you until the entire universe spiritualizes.
- Imagination is not fantasy but a real force with body-level effects: Tibetan monks perspire naked at sub-zero through heat-yoga; pulse rises by imagining running; a hypnotized student died when told ‘you are dead.’ If death can be produced through imagination, so can more life - and that life is no less real.
- Instruction: sit alone, ideally outdoors in nature. Others’ presence activates reason; solitude and sensory reduction restore imagination to full force (after 36 hours of sensory deprivation one cannot distinguish imagined from real - seekers moved to mountains precisely for this).
- Start from within: feel a river of consciousness flowing inside you, overflowing outward into the room, then the world. Marker: when the body begins to vibrate, imagination has genuinely engaged. Don’t only imagine in the mind - without that bodily vibration you are only thinking about it.
- Expand until within and without dissolve as categories: feel the walls, trees, everything de-materializing from solid substance into pure immaterial energy - only waves, only vibration. Physics confirms: beneath apparent solidity there is only energy. Imagination destroys the overlay of ‘matter’ and the old patterns of mind, letting the underlying reality show.
- Continue until no boundary remains between you and the universe - one ocean of energy. That ocean IS God: not a creator-person sitting apart from creation but the very creativity, happening every moment, every moment including you.
- Duration: one hour daily, three months of intensive work, to move from occasional flickers to a stable different feeling of existence.
- The danger and the distinction: since sanity rests on distinctions, as the solid world dematerializes you will feel you are going mad. The difference between insanity and this ‘un-sanity’ is conscious effort - you are the master dismantling the patterns, not a victim losing them. Saints and the insane both move beyond ordinary reality; the route taken (conscious versus accidental) is the entire difference.
