In truth forms are inseparate. Inseparate are omnipresent being and your own form. Realize each as made of this consciousness.
- Forms are inseparate: run the thought experiment - you are the last person on earth. You cannot even imagine yourself alone. Every quality you carry (good/bad, wise/foolish, beautiful/ugly, man/woman) exists only in relation to others. Remove all other forms and all your own forms vanish with them; only nothing remains. You exist as a node in a web, not as a free-standing substance.
- Your form and omnipresent being are inseparate: you are not an outsider or a stranger to the universe - you are an intrinsic insider. The universe cannot lose you without losing itself. You have existed in many forms and will continue; you are not an accident dropped into an alien world.
- Realize EACH as made of this consciousness - not only yourself but everything around you. This third step is decisive. Realizing ‘I am made of consciousness’ alone feeds the ego - it becomes a grand, unique claim of status. Realizing the OTHER is also made of this consciousness dissolves the ego entirely. ‘When everything is divine you are humbled; there is no question of being somebody or something above.’
- The goal: the looker and the looked-at are both divine; one formlessness underlies all forms. This must become a living realization, not a doctrine - only then does the ego have nothing left to stand on and cannot survive.
