With utmost devotion, center on the two junctions of breath and know the knower.
- The same breath-junction technique already given — the two turnings where incoming and outgoing breath reverse — with a single added condition: ‘with utmost devotion.’ One word changes the whole technique.
- It is for heart-oriented, devotional seekers who cannot do a dry, impersonal, scientific technique. The identical physical act is transformed by the inner attitude brought to it: faith, love, trust.
- Tantra’s ground: the body is the temple of the divine. It is not you but the divine breathing, eating, walking in you; the breath’s two junctions are where the divine’s breath turns, not yours.
- Practical pivot: while eating, feel you are offering food to the divine in you; while bathing, that you are giving the divine a bath. Once this attitude permeates daily life, centering at the junctions becomes natural and devotional rather than mechanical, and the knower is reached through the heart’s devotion instead of through the mind’s effort — the slight modification is the difference between the technique working and not working for this type.
